Autotrader Explains What Makes the 2016 Ford Flex So Very Special

If it's a full-size crossover you're after for your next daily driver, your friends at NorthStar Ford have a funny feeling you'll find a whole lot to like about ours, the 2016 Ford Flex.

One part wagon, one part SUV and all parts astounding, the Flex most certainly warrants a closer look. Fortunately, that's just what our pal -- Autotrader critic, Jabari Jones -- is here today to provide. Get his take on the Flex in the clip below:

In base form, the Flex is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine. Good for an impressive 287 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque, this six-banger should do the trick for most drivers.

If you'd prefer something with a bit more brawn, however, the EcoBoost iteration is one to consider. Available as an option only with the top-tier Limited trim, the EcoBoost's turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 makes a muscly 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.
