Ford A-Plan & Z-Plan Pricing Explained
Ford A-Plan pricing is designed specifically for current Ford employees. Z-Plan pricing is available to former Ford employees in addition to their immediate family members and surviving spouses. Complete eligibility requirements are listed here:
- All active full-time hourly employees & regular salaried employees, beginning with date of hire.
- All hourly retirees receiving a normal, early (regular or special) or disability retirement benefit, as long as any medical benefits are being received.
- Salaried retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan, including salaried employees who terminate between the ages of 50-55 and who are eligible to receive certain deferred retirement benefits, are eligible while they are receiving benefits.
- Surviving spouses of employees who died while actively employed and surviving spouses of retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan, or who are receiving benefits under the Ford-UAW Retirement Plan.
- All U.S. Temporary Part-Time employees (TPTs) are eligible for A-Plan in the U.S.
- Employees on an approved leave of absence, for the duration of the leave or until expiration of any medical benefits.
- Employees on layoff, for the first 12 months of the layoff.
- Employees taking a separation package, complete details on their AXZ-Plan privileges are included in their separation packet.
- All regular part-time hourly and salaried employees who are eligible to receive medical benefits.
- Deferred Vested Retirees while they are receiving a Ford pension check.
- Employees of approved subsidiary companies and approved affiliated companies as eligibility is defined at the time of approval.
- Members of the immediate family of the above. "Immediate family" means the following relatives of the employee or retiree:
- Spouse
- Parents
- Spouse's parents
- Grandparents
- Spouse's grandparents
- Sons and daughters (including in-laws and step children)
- Grandchildren
- Brothers and sisters (including in-laws, half, and step)
- Same-sex domestic partners of eligible active employees
- Immediate family members of eligible same-sex domestic partners
- Employees of approved subsidiary companies and approved affiliated companies as eligibility is defined at the time of approval.
- When both the employee/retiree and his/her spouse are deceased, the surviving family members are no longer eligible.
How to Register for Ford A-Plan or Z-Plan Pricing
The first step is to acquire a PIN prior to completing the purchase or lease transaction on your next Ford. This special pricing is available exclusively to customers who identify themselves as a participant in the program and provide a PIN. You have two options for obtaining a PIN.

X-Plan Overview
The New Vehicle Purchase Program (X-Plan) also known as the Partner Recognition Program, is offered by Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company to the employees, retirees, spouses and other household members (driver's license required for proof of residency) of selected Tier 1 suppliers, business partners, fleet partners and special organizations having a unique relationship with the Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company. Participation in the program is contingent on the Partner Company's continued relationship with Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company and will stay in effect until terminated by either party upon a thirty (30) days prior written notice provided to the other party. Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company may terminate this program upon thirty (30) days notice at its respective sole discretion.
Proof of Eligibility
- For employees of eligible partner companies, you must provide a recent pay stub, company I.D., W-2 or company healthcare card. All are acceptable items to verify employment. (Note: business cards will not be accepted as proof of employment). The dealership must list the company or organization's name on the AXZD-Plan Pricing Agreement.
- For residents in the same household as the eligible employee/retiree, driver's licenses' will be required for proof of residence.
- For membership-based companies, you must provide a membership card that indicates a 90 day membership required prior to the sale date of the vehicle. Any one of the following are accepted : Membership Card, Invoice showing customer is within good standing and is current, or Screen print of Website ( Must show full name and member since information ).
Eligible Products
- Current Ford and Lincoln model year and prior model year vehicles sold in the United States. See your local dealer for vehicle eligibility.
- Vehicles may be ordered from production or, if the dealer agrees, may be selected from the inventory of the dealership. Dealers are not required to participate, but if they do, they must be an authorized Ford Motor Company or Lincoln Motor Company dealer for the product sold and agree to abide by the New Vehicle Purchase Program guidelines set forth in this document.
- Prior model year vehicles may be purchased or leased while supplies last for products under X-Plan. See your selling dealer for details.
- Dealer demonstrator units (no mileage restriction). No additional discount is permitted beyond incentives compatible with an X-Plan deal.
Ineligible Products
- Certain commercial use or specialty products and certain "low-supply" vehicles as defined by Ford and Lincoln. Click here for a specific list of Ineligible Products
- Used vehicles.
- Driver training vehicles.
