The Mustang GT is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that makes 450 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Mustang Mach 1 gets 470 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque from a 5.0-liter V8 engine.

The standard drift brake system works by braking on the inside wheels of the Mustang and applying more power to the outside wheels. This reduces oversteering, which makes it easier to take tight turns without losing control. The Mustang also features front and rear anti-roll bars that reduce body roll when taking tight turns.
